HI Russ, that was actually my father in law Joe Kane that you left a message for. i invited him to see the pics of our trip. We had a blast! Everyone was very happy, even All inclusive, buffet Joe! All four of us enjoyed ILlusion and Playa more than riu Tequila! We made many new friends. The tour was the Zip Line Jungle Adventure Tour at the DISCOVERY JUNGLE PARK. NOthing like Costa Rica Zip line, the ladders were tied up to the trees , it was a little hairy going up! Anyway it was an adventure that we'll not soon forget (-:
Thanks for the note! We will be there in June. I found this group while doing some checking on safety. We live pretty close to the Texas-Mexico border and have stopped traveling across. Sad, sad situation as it is impacting the livelihood of so many innocent folks.......AND it's cramping our style, too as there used to be lots of fun in Cuidad Acuna, Nuevo Laredo, Piedras Negras, etc.

I would like to thank you for this. I would like to hear from everyone about playa del carmen. I would like to find some nice hotels in or around calle 4 to 10
we've stayed in various places over the past few years, in Playa as well as Akumal, Tulum, Isla Holbox, and Punta Allen. We like Tulum best, usually AnnayJoses, its a little quieter than Playa, but we always like to spend a couple of days in Playa as well.
Thanks for your msg welcoming us. we are a gay couple travelling with our two best girlfriends. we have a private condo on 38th street.....out of the tourist district as of the map. we are looking to have a few nights of fun but also having a few nights of relaxation. i've read many posts people have put on and i am really looking forward to coming there. we've been to puerto vallarta many times and we are looking for a more relax time with our fav gals.....

I'm from Houston too.. and there is no danger that i know of? unless of course you go to the places where you would find yourself in danger, that is like going to 5th ward or 3rd ward in Houston. its ok to come down, I drove down here with my 10 y...
