HI KRIS,
THANKS FOR THE WELCOME!
I'VE NEVER DONE AN "ALL-INCLUSIVE" - BUT HAVE STAYED AT MANY LARGE HOTELS, AND LIKE A LARGE ROOM - FROM MY STUDYING,FOR LARGE HOTELS NEAR TOWN, IM LEANING TOWARDS THE "ROYAL" OR "GRAN PORTO REAL" - JUST DONT KNOW IF THRY'RE TOO STERILE?
FOR THE SMALLER ONES, I CAN GET AN OCEANFRONT STUDIO, OR 1 BEDROOM SUITE @ PLAYA PALMS, OR A 1 BEDROOM AT "EL TAJ" OR A 1 BEDRROM A "MAYA VILLA HOTEL" OR "PORTO PLAYA".......
ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED,
THANKS!
Hi Kris, Thanks for your welcome. I'll be arriving in Playa on Aug 8 and staying at the Tukan. I have never been to this part of Mexico before, usually to Mexico City, Acapulco, Puebla, etc. I plan on enjoying everything and practicing my Spanish.
Hi, Kris Thanks for welcoming us and for creating this site. My fiance and I are getting married in Playa next yr. We've never been to Playa so this site has been very helpful.
Hi Kris,
Thanks for the welcome! We will be arriving in Cancun on the 28th and staying until the 31st. From the 31st to the 5th we will be at Secrets. (First time in the area since the college days in Cancun) Cant wait to leave the grind of Long Island NY and just enjoy>
Any interesting and different ideas would be greatly appreciated, as I told Russ we would love to get the feel of those who live and love it there as opposed to just playing "tourist".
The royal looks beautiful (and it was a great suggestion because we are looking for an all inclusive) but we are looking for something a little more nature oriented. I found the Grand Palladium and it looked like it was built into the natural surroundings. That kind of hotel is what we are looking for. :) Sorry I should have been more specific.
Actually we never been to PDC, I am just a very good researcher. (Google helps with that a bit LOL.) We spent an afternoon in Tulum while on a cruise but that is as close as we got.
We will have about 20-30 family and friends, all adults, joining us. And please feel to ask questions. What bride doesn't like telling about her wedding? ;)
We are planning to have a Mayan or cosmic wedding ceremony (still debating) on a beach near PDC. For the reception we plan to either head out to a local restaurant or back to our resort. We are leaning toward La Cueva Del Chango if we stay in town for dinner. After dinner we want to have an after party perhaps at the fusion beach bar/restaurant. We would like to have the after party somewhere with a show like the fire dancers at the fusion but that also has a older crowd. I would love to hear your opinions or any suggestions.
Dear Kris,
Good morning! thank you very much for your welcome message!
I like your page is great! I'm living in Playa 14 years ago...so I love this amazing place.......hope we can be in touch......

hola guys,,, thanks for the welcome to the Playa del Carmen social page.. I;m a HUGE fan of PDC and cant wait to come back.. the restaraunts and the ocean are enough until you add the fantastic mix of great looking women from all over the world and you have a picture perfect paradise,, im looking forward daily to my next visit>> mob
Ist time in '97 we stayed at the Diamond Resort, now I believe it's an Allegro Resort. Then in 2001 we stayed at an Allegro resort in Cozumel and visited Play Del Carmen. We hope to return this winter or early next year. I've heard it has grown a lot in that area and hope it hasn't lost its character.
Thanks
Hi Kris, Me and my friend are very interested in working in playa or anywhere around that area as we fell in love with the place after visting on holiday recently. Can you advise me about any jobs available there.

We are heading from The Netherlands next week and staying at Grand Coco Bay.
We have never been there and it is our first time we are visiting Mexico. Looking forward ;-).
Any suggestions, tips or things we should do from you?
Best regards,
Ivan
