Playa del Carmen arrival date
I found a flight for $310 round trip , all fees included. Im happy about that! Thanks to everyone who helped with all my questions. My dates are feb.4 to feb.10. I currently am looking for accomodations, just by myself. Im sad there is no one to split hotel costs with. I have a few ideas I'll check into tomorrow. If anyone wants to meet for drinks or recreation, I'm open. :)

Comment by Tim House on February 2, 2009 at 9:20am - I booked at fusion hotel on the beach for80$/ night and a hostel on the beach for 15$/night., split between the two. It made it very affordable for 1 person. Otherwise, costs for traveling as one gets discriminatory, even criminal! I was originally going with my best friend , but he backed out at the last minute. I should be able to meet others at the hostel, but am a bit leery of the hostel , I'll let you know how it was.

I recently had to cancel a wonderfully planned 2 week vacation to Playa Del Carmen and it has been agony to let those wonderful airfares go by. However, the room rates for 1 were too much for me. Hope you have found a friend... and if you were successful, let me know...I'd like to try. Thanks, Suzanne

I'm from Houston too.. and there is no danger that i know of? unless of course you go to the places where you would find yourself in danger, that is like going to 5th ward or 3rd ward in Houston. its ok to come down, I drove down here with my 10 y...
