It's a bullfight. This is what happens. Either the matador dies or the bulls die. Bulls are always killed in bullfights.

It's a bunch of crap. If you watch the news, you wouldn't want to go go to the states for vacation either. Violence is everywhere. In Florida where I'm from, my home city has a few murders each day. Don't worry, enjoy Mexico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
