Thanks Russ, This helps but I heard the Mexican gov't would be allowing card games in 2010 and casinos were being built now in Playa del Carmen which would have card games. I deal cards so if you do here anymore about this I would REALLY appreciat...

We started this site for folks like you who have experience what Playa del Carmen has to offer and to share pictures, suggestions, and stories with other folks who have never been there, but are looking into going, a better idea of what Playa has to offer.
What a great job you have and it sounds like a lot of fun. I am right there with you about finding great little places off the beaten path that is affordable and great food, we must compare noes sometime :)
