It was recommended that we not take our kids to the bullfights...they really do kill the bull! Being from Texas, we like rodeos and thought it might be fun, but the locals at our resort changed our minds!
Thanks for the comments and your postings in the safety discussion. I go back and forth to Playa all the time and at one time loved the north of MX. But I agree, what has happened in the north is very sad. While it has not effected the resorts areas in the south east it has directly effected all of the country and its economy.

Thanks Russ, This helps but I heard the Mexican gov't would be allowing card games in 2010 and casinos were being built now in Playa del Carmen which would have card games. I deal cards so if you do here anymore about this I would REALLY appreciat...
