Thanks Russ, This helps but I heard the Mexican gov't would be allowing card games in 2010 and casinos were being built now in Playa del Carmen which would have card games. I deal cards so if you do here anymore about this I would REALLY appreciat...

We started this site to get people who have never been there before excited about Playa and people who have been there and LOVED it, as you have, to post stories, comments, suggestions, pictures and videos to share.
Mosquito Blue is a great place! Right in the heart of town. I love that hotel. Let me know if you need any information on other hotels you might be interested in.

Welcome to the social club, we love it when we have folks who are Playa people come around to join us. Mosquito Blue is a great property, I have stayed with them a number of time.
The hotel is owner by a gentleman named Genaro, young guy, Italian. They have a second hotel on the beach in Playa called Mosquito Beach as well as a condo project. All are great great properties and you will have a great stay I am sure.
Please feel free to get involved in our community. Playa is a special place, again welcome.
