I think you are find to make an 11am out of Cozumel IF you get an early ferry. The first ferry is at 6am and then every hour. If you are on the 7am you should be fine
Keep in mind that there are 2 ferry companies so DON'T by a round trip ticket when you come over from Cozumel because you will want to by your return ticket based on the boat that has the best sailing time for you to meet you flight.
The ferry is about 40 minutes so if you sail at 8am or before you will be fine to make you flight

Dear Russ,
I am flying to Cozumel later on this month and taking the ferry over to Playa.
I have used the ferry many times in the past.
I have a question and need for you to advise me:
my flight departs CZM around 11 a.m.
I would love to stay in Playa my last night, but have ferry concerns.
Do you think that I could catch the ferry out in the morning and head over to the airport - or would you recommend that I overnight in CZM?
I am concerned that locals might fill the early ferries on their way to work and that I might miss my flight or something crazy like that.
I would much rather stay in Playa del Carmen my last night as opposed to staying in Cozumel.
I would appreciate you advice.

Thanks Russ, This helps but I heard the Mexican gov't would be allowing card games in 2010 and casinos were being built now in Playa del Carmen which would have card games. I deal cards so if you do here anymore about this I would REALLY appreciat...
