SO I just found out that the resort is the one that is actually IN Playa...is that maybe why the pricing is so high, then?
We are still so uninformed ...I just talked to my girlfriends travel agent, and the agent STILL doesnt know the dates that they are flying out. All we know is that its on the weekend of February 13/14th. :( Sorry for the lack of info.

I'm honestly not EXACTLY sure of the dates, but we MUST be there February 13th (this is the wedding day). As long as we get to go to the wedding, we're happy.
We're thinking if we DONT go with their resort/wedding "package", we'd do our own vacation...February 5 - 14th (leaving early on the 14th preferrably). Then as long as there is a resort that's fairly close to the Sandos Carcol thats 10 min outside of town, we'd be good to go!
We just can't affort $2200 per person for the both of us to go to Mexico right now (that's $4400 FOR BOTH OF US! wow! lol)...but if it were 1/2 that, we'd be happy to go!

And yes - that did include flight, and the all inclusive resort.
Just went in early June and it was awesome. Been going for a few years now. Finally got an all-inclusive right in Playa (instead of Playacar). Best yet! Can't wait to go back.

We go to Playa about once a quarter...we love it. We will be there again on the 27th and will relocate to a resort near Cancun for our annual 4th of July get together with tons of friends. We can't be so close to Playa and not spend time there too!
For anyone who wants the ADO bus schedule...leaves airport on the hour and leaves Playa on the :10 of the hour.
Looking forward to another great time!

its my first time going to PDC. and i have a question: How important is it to get a bus ticket inadvance for the ADO bus line. do you know a good safe site to purchase the tickets. Thanks
