- I've made numerous trips to Playa del Carmen and have yet to find anything like it. My husband and I love it so much, we got married there in Nov '08. It was beyond perfect, and Playa has a very special place in my heart because of it.
We love Chicago but hate the weather and hope to make Playa or somewhere like it home someday. The sooner the better.

When are you going back??? There is not a better place like Playa for the perfect wedding. My sister lives in Chicago so I know all about your weather, I am in Boston so we get our share of winter as well....can't wait to move there myself....on day soon I hope...at least by retirement. I work for Worldlinks with Russ and Kris and look forward to having you as a member of our club. I am running to get a bag ready I have a 7am flight to CUN in the AM. Funny, we shoot video, allmost exactly a year earlier early Nov 07 @ the Parrot of a wdding. It was a big decision point when we got home and looked at that footage that we knew we wanted to invest in this site.

I have know Tom & Pam since they became involved and then owners of the Blue Parrot brand and before them (early 90's) I was very good friend with Rick and Marice the founders at the Parrot..
