Hi and thank you, I look forward to being an active member of the club will be going to Playa Del Carmen in Feb-2009, me and my brother are interested in deep sea fishing any ideas or comments?
Thank you Jody! We were married at the Blue Parrot on Nov 7th. I don't think any of our 50 guests had been to Playa before, and they're hooked too. We heard "best wedding EVER" many times. :)
Thanks again, I guess we will be packing our skeleton costumes! Just a few more questions, for now...I was looking at the catamaran day trip, we like the idea of the snorkeling, sailing and chillin, is it a fun trip? Is there just one company that offers that trip? And if so which would you suggest?
Hi Jody! i will be in Playacar Oct. 18-24. I probably will take the easy way out and stay in an all-inclusive. Do you know anything about Sandos or Iberostar Quetzal? I have stayed in a sister property of the the Q and it was nice...Sandos is offering a great deal though. Which is closer to Playa del Carmen? Its hard to tell in the map but i would like the option to walk into town.

Wow, thanks for the quick response! My husband and I won a trip to the Grand Mayan Riviera,11/1-11/7, but we are flying down on the 30th and would like to stay in Playa Del Carmen until then. I am not a huge fan of big cities, like Cancun, and I heard that Playa was kinda funky, and more bohemian....am I right? We love to browse for art pieces, enjoy the local flavors/sounds. Since we will be chillin at the Grand Mayan for the remainder we want to make the most of having fun in Playa...where should we stay? I NEED clean. We want fun and to be in the middle of the action. I was hoping for less than $150/nite usd. Am I asking for too much? I know I have a lot of questions...but we never got to have a REAL honeymoon, so I guess we are making up for it!!!! Any suggestions for a hotel, must-see/do list is sooooooo appreciated! Oh, and what about the cenotes?...they sound like heaven.
