After careful review and hearing some of the responses, I think I'll definitely forego the bull fight. It sounds so sad and gory. :>(
OMG I am so ready to head back down there and try all of these AWESOME sounding dishes. I guess that is what I get reading this when it is dinner time. Can't wait to go :)
Im not a PETA fanatic, GREENPEACE freak or something like that but...i really find bulls, rooster or pitbull fights "SO LAST CENTURY" ... so out!
So, my advice for you, if u want to experience dead animals in a mexican tradition around here... try...
It's a bullfight. This is what happens. Either the matador dies or the bulls die. Bulls are always killed in bullfights.
I saw a bullfight in cancun many years ago... and while I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast and former hunter, I have to admit it was one of the most brutal things I had/have ever seen. While I understand and appreciate tradition, heritage and everythi...
It was recommended that we not take our kids to the bullfights...they really do kill the bull! Being from Texas, we like rodeos and thought it might be fun, but the locals at our resort changed our minds!

Does anyone know if casinos are opening next year in Playa Del Carmen? Someone told me that they are. I want to move to the area and this is the line of work I am in therefore would love know if this is true. Thanks, Becly
