- I love the Riviera coastline! Wish I could just move there :) The first time I went to Playa del Carmen and Tulum was in '95... and there wasn't a whole lot there, I definitely remember the Blue Parrot beach bar with swings though! I was only 16 at the time, man I thought I was cool drinking at that bar! haha... Can't wait to be there in October!! YAY :)

I'm from Houston too.. and there is no danger that i know of? unless of course you go to the places where you would find yourself in danger, that is like going to 5th ward or 3rd ward in Houston. its ok to come down, I drove down here with my 10 y...

Just wanted to say"hi" and let you know it's been over a year already since the Social Club was started, WOW talk about time flying by. As of today we are now up to 339 members and adding everyday. Drop a note anytime the Playa gang is always around.

I have stayed at Copal 3 or 4 times over the years. It is a unique place. The oceanfront rooms are wonderful, I have also used a jungle room which I would not recommend unless you are on a real tight budget.
Oceanfront, oceanview, and even the garden rooms offer a unique experience you will love as long as you remember where you are and that you are a guest in the jungle,
What type of budget do you have for he all-inclusive? Where in Texas would you be flying from? Let me know and I'll look around for you

October is a great time to go to Playa/Tulum not crowded at all. Yes I do work for worldlinks and love it! Let me know if you need help with your arrangements, there are a lot of specials during the month of October :)
