Thanks Russ, This helps but I heard the Mexican gov't would be allowing card games in 2010 and casinos were being built now in Playa del Carmen which would have card games. I deal cards so if you do here anymore about this I would REALLY appreciat...

I am part of the Worldlinks team here in New Jersey, we are an internet based travel company, we mostly focus on the Mayan Riviera, our specialty is Playa del Carmen and Tulum we are the US representatives for over 72 small hotels and condos in that area. The Iberostar Paraiso Maya is located up in Puerto Morelos and is about 20 minutes north of Playa del Carmen by car. http://mayanriviera.com/nhotels/iberostarparaisomaya/
There are 7 Iberostar's in that area. 2 are in Playa del Carmen, the other 5 are up in Puerto Morelos, which town were you looking at?
We started this site to get people who have never been there before excited about Playa and what it has to offer. Also for people who have been there and LOVED it and LIVED IT, to post stories, comments, suggestions, pictures and videos to share.
