We are going to Playa in June. Has the Swine Flu affected anyone's travel to Playa?

I jsut got back this evening. I will catch up with you tomorrow or over the next couple days. I see you are talking to Kris and she is a real good source of information.
I had a good trip. Headed back in July will update you shortly 9-: You will have a great time when you go, A good friend Marc Funari is going to be down there the same time. He is in the forum here and he knows playa well.

Which ruins do you suggest going to (our first trip to Playa)? We are really considering Tulum as it is also on the coast.
Do you think we should book our trip to Cozumel from our hotel concierge when we get there, online now, or through someone you know?
Interested in jetsking, snorkeling, ATV, swimming in Cenotes, X-Caret and more! Where is the best place to book these adventures?

You are not going to have any problem with the water, ice, drinks or veggies in Playacar or anywhere you might wander in Playa Del Carmen when you go into down. (-:
Tap water in Playacar is american quality so you can brush teeth or swallow a mouthful in the shower without concern. Bottled water is available everywhere as it is in the US. Go enjoy the drinks, veggies and food (-:
