- My wife and I were on a cruise and briefly stopped there a couple of years ago while getting on a bus to the ruins, so didn't really have anytime to look. We joined "The Real Club" in Cancun 2 years ago and we are staying in Playa del Carmen for a week (May 5th - May 11th - My wife's 50th is on the 6th and our 30th Aniv. then too!). Any suggestions, tips, special things to do would be GR8ly appreciated!! How's the Nite Life - We like to PARTY!! LOL

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I actually took a weekend off...........tried to anyway.......:)
You are going to LOVE the ROYAL it is one of my favorite all inclusives down there as it is with in walking distance of 5 th Ave. As far as planning something for your sweetie, I would check with the concierge when she is not looking and maybe they can arrange a romatic dinner on he beach...just a thought. Does she like spas? They have a wonderful on property, maybe get a "couples" massage.
I am not sure what type of celebrations there will be down there, on Cinco de Mayo. I wish I was going to be down that way. I would love to have met you both for a adult libation. But someone has to work.
With that said, I better get crackin' Have a wonderful time and Happy B-day!

Thanks Russ, This helps but I heard the Mexican gov't would be allowing card games in 2010 and casinos were being built now in Playa del Carmen which would have card games. I deal cards so if you do here anymore about this I would REALLY appreciat...
