Parking in Playa del Carmen

I am staying in Playa Feb 18-21st, and have rented a car from the airport in Cancun. The Hacienda Paradise does not offer parking, and understand that the parking lots are $2/hour. Any suggestions? We had hoped to travel to some of the ruins while there as we have to get back to Cancun to take the ferry over to Isle Mujeres for a week.

Turns out we are not going to miss each outher as I had thought, my wife and daugther are going back on the 17th but I have changed my plans and will be around till March 4th. Going t Tulum the 17th & 18th (i think) then back and checking in at Playa Palms for a couple weeks. Still would love to have a beer with you (-:

As for Parking. Your hotel is very close to 10th Ave. I would look for street parking going north on 10th (starts at Calle 6) and/or Calle 6, 8 or 10 between 10Ave and 15th. The block between 10th and 15th Ave you can usually find soomething and often on 10th Ave.

Be SURE there is no yellow paint ANYWHERE on the curb. If there is yellow (even very faded) you are likely to find ur rear plate missing and I will cost you $175 when you turn the car in. This is easierfor the local police than issuing tickets that will never be paid.; ▶ Reply to This
