FISHING IN PLAYA

MY HUSBAND AND I WILL BE GOING TO PLAYA AUGUST 25TH FOR 8 DAYS. HE WANTS TO GO BOTTOM FISHING WITH OUR FRIEND. WE ARE STAYING AT THE SHANGRI-LA CARIBE. OTHER THAN THE HOTEL, ARE THERE PLACES NEAR THERE WHERE YOU CAN GO OUT FISHING FOR HALF DAY?

Permalink Reply by jimmy don on August 14, 2009 at 9:33pm: Take a cab to Puerto Aventuras About $15.00 us.That is where the Marina is located.You can fish for bill fish or bottom fish.Don,t pay more that $125.00 each.This is the best time of the year for sail and marlin.They are everywhere.Catch and release on all bill fish.Gringo Dave's will cook any fish for free that you catch and want to eat.(Mai Mai.Snapper,Grouper,Triggerfish etc).Most boat's go out around 800am and 1200pm.Good luck.Jimmy; ▶ Reply to This
